Emerald and Gold is everything you want them to be, everything you want them to do for you..
we always wanted to do a post on emerald for two reasons- first because of its one of our favorite colors and we feel its bold enough to carry iteself independently. Secondly, its Pantone color of the year. Though, today we are doing it with gold which goes perfectly with it, we’ll for sure do a round-up of emerald alone before the year ends.
We have tried to create a living room scenario here, for easy understanding of how one product complements the other. Here we’ve emerald as the dominating color and just a hint of gold adds to the chic feel.
The classic style beige lamp shade and green stand works out to be perfect for this kind of a setting. A perfect bookend to keep together the classic-style bound books with olden fonts. The green on gray wallpaper helps enhance the products kept in front of it. The peacock-emerald chained ceiling lighting is dramatizinge the whole scene. And so does the quirky mirror.
Loving the cane- again classic style comfy chair sitting like a royal tiger. Adding the finishing touch are the Peacock feather pillow and the Greek key design patterned cushion in gold and emerald. The topaz emerald carpet with golden base balances the whole look.
This lovely Louis XV style carved and painted console has a green veined serpentine marble top can easily be our show-stopper. Glass bubble vase on the side is the perfect fresh spot, off course with flowers in them, we feel yellow lilies would do the magic. The two decor products- the Lotus candle holder and the Malachite emerald and gold vase work as great accents.
The Emerald cabinet completes the picture with its beautiful carves on mirror base door.
